In-camera FX Elements
The creative design team at Loyal Kaspar collaborated with Christopher Webb and FX WRX to capture real optical effects elements for STARZ visual brand ID. Practical logo art was laser cut into physical panels for use with dynamic lighting effects. Prismatic optics were manipulated with motion control rigging between the camera lens and the subject.
By capturing a series of in-camera FX plates and individual optical elements the team created a catalog of assets for digital compositing with CG. This allowed the designers at Loyal Kaspar to produce a wide variety of graphical ID visuals for on-air, social media, and other uses.
